Weave Grid builds software to make it cheaper and safer for utilities to serve electric vehicles, add renewable energy resources, and save customers money. Electric vehicle (EV) sales are growing at over 60% a year, with vehicle manufacturers spending billions to get ready for an electric future. Boston Consulting Group estimates EVs will account for over half of all vehicle sales by 2030. Electric utilities see massive opportunities in this transformation, as the rise of EVs could drive more growth in energy demand over the next 10 years than any decade since the 1950s.
Larger EV fleets can also help support renewable energy sources on the grid. But to accommodate growth in EVs, utilities will need to make substantial investments in infrastructure and technology. Weave Grid's software helps meet the challenge of our transition to electrified transport.
The WeaveGrid team is growing rapidly, and we are in urgent need of a capable, flexible, and diligent individual to take on several areas of operational responsibility. In particular, we need a compassionate and organized individual that can both scale up our PeopleOps capabilities on strategic and tactical dimensions, as well as serve as an administrative partner to our CEO and CTO.

This role will have a significant impact on the reputation and growth trajectory of the company. As we more than double our headcount this year, we must implement tools and processes that enable rapid onboarding, close collaboration, and intentional culture development while navigating a hybrid remote and in-office setting.
By its nature in a rapidly growing company, this role may be a stepping stone to several more specialized career paths including specific functions of PeopleOps, internal administration and operations, and other strategic roles as they become necessary with increasing scale.

You have several years of experience in small-company operations, and you are ready for a position with broad and evolving responsibilities. You will bring your own perspective on what good PeopleOps looks like, and will socialize that perspective with our senior leaders.
You live in the San Francisco Bay Area and you are eager, when the time comes, to work in an in-person office environment again.
