- Must be a residential customer of Duquesne Light Company (DLC)
- A qualified vehicle or charger connection is required for duration of program
- Electric vehicle must be registered at your DLC service address
- Must charge at home with a Level 2 charger
- Not enrolled in a DLC time-of-use rate or Peak Saver Rewards Program
- You may opt-out of a Smart Charging event at any time

Drivers may enroll in Duquesne Light's Smart Charging Rewards program with a qualified Tesla electric vehicle. If your vehicle is not eligible, you also have the option to enroll with a qualified ChargePoint, Emporia, or Wallbox home charging station.

The Smart Charging Rewards program is risk-free and you can opt out at any time throughout your program experience.
Once your EV is connected in the registration process and you've been enrolled in the Smart Charging Rewards program, your charging will be optimally scheduled each time you plug in at home, including around Smart Charging Events.
Drivers who participate in at least half of the Smart Charging Events each month in the summer (June - September) can earn $20 for that month.
You'll receive notifications about your upcoming schedule and upcoming Smart Charging Events. You can always skip your proposed charge schedule if needed.
After creating a WeaveGrid account, you will be prompted to sign into your EV account to establish a connection between your vehicle and WeaveGrid.
WeaveGrid then receives your vehicle data in order to provide the program experience and benefits.
This EV data includes information such as how much EV charging has occurred, when EV charging occurs, and whether EV charging occurred at home or away from home.
WeaveGrid is committed to securing users’ data. While we may share relevant EV data with your energy company in order to facilitate program participation, we do not share your EV or personal data with third parties.
We maintain stringent data security and privacy protection procedures to ensure no details about our users, or their charging and driving patterns, are misused or disclosed to unauthorized parties.
